Sales Manager (Junior) - France

The Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring that relevant customers, partners, and influencers in the territory (end-users, channel partners, resellers, and consultants) choose our company for their specialty display needs. The Sales Manager role requires an ability to sell directly, manage channel partners, and influence industry thought-leaders. The Sales Manager will think and act according to company’s strategy in achieving business results for the territory. The Sales Manager will contribute to the channel strategy, implement that strategy by signing appropriate channel partners, and then manage those partners to achieve aggressive sales goals. The successful candidate must work well with internal colleagues in Marketing, Engineering, Technical Support, Sales Operations and other functions, in support of a collaborative, customer-focused organization.

The Sales Manager shall also:

  • Refine and execute sales strategy to meet business goals in the territory.
  • Identify, recruit, attain, and manage the best resellers and industry thought-leaders in the territory.
  • Solicit and participate in joint sales calls, promote marketing programs, participate/conduct trainings and product demonstrations, participate in tradeshows and model the speed, agility, aggressiveness, teamwork, and responsiveness required to win in our marketplace.
  • Establish performance measures and evaluate effectiveness and competitiveness of channel partners, Manufacturers’ Reps, and programs.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive information, and other market and customer feedback.

Personal requirements:

  • Relevant education related to sales, business, administration or technical field
  • Technology sales experience either as sales manager, inside sales representative, back office sales, or similar role of salesperson, with further ability to be developed for the sales manager role
  • proAV experience is preferred (prior sales experience with LCD and LED displays is advantage)
  • Track record of demonstrated success selling and forecasting sales in the territory required.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills; oral, written and presentation, required.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in fast paced dynamic environment required.
  • Frequent travel required
  • Ability to read, write and speak English on professional level
  • Ability to interact with colleagues in multinational environment

Showroom Consultant & Inside Sales Representative – UK

The Showroom Consultant & Inside Sales Representative – Leyard UK engages prospective channel partners, consultants, integrators, end-users, and other key influencers and decision-makers that have interest in Leyard LED products, to visit their new London showroom. This is a combined role that includes supporting the existing team in welcoming these partners into a warm, friendly and constructive demonstration environment, whilst also having a responsibility to support the inside sales managers, in the back office administration support.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

As a Showroom Consultant:

  • Welcome, register and guide customers and clients in the showroom
  • Demonstrate and explain Leyard products
  • Network with partners
  • Tracking customers and partners using company’s software
  • Ensure that presentation of the showroom is first class

As in Inside Sales Representative:

  • Create quotes for the company's clients
  • Process clients’ data in the ERP system
  • Coordinate responses to private and public tenders
  • Collaborate and facilitate the work of field sales managers
  • Work with other departments upon receipt of the order

Personal requirements:

  • English language – native speaker or a high proficiency level
  • Relevant education related to sales, business, administration, or a technical field
  • Interest in technology, ability to learn and interpret product specifications
  • Technology sales experience is an advantage
  • Very good communication skills are of high importance

Job Description

The Application Engineer is responsible for attaining sales goals in the assigned sales regions with pre-sales technical support, proposal preparation, lead development, order coordination, and field presentations.

Essential Functions:

  • Participate in customer meetings, present technical solutions and address technical questions in an appropriate manner.
  • Assist and support in the design of Leyard solutions including BOMs and high-level schematics.
  • Assist in analysis of tenders, proposals and quotations in close cooperation with Sales and Inside Sales
  • Create and present conceptual ideas to internal and external customers.
  • Train the sales managers and the partners on the product positioning and competitive advantages.
  • Make technical presentations and demonstrate how Leyard solutions exceed client needs and expectations.
  • Liaise with other members of the team and exchange knowledge and thoughts, actively document and extend the knowledge database.
  • Support marketing activities by attending local demoroom visits, trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing, understanding and interpreting their requirements.
  • Transfer of all required information to the operations and field service team in order to ensure a smooth project implementation.

Education and/or Experience required:

  • Electronic Engineer level or equivalent.
  • Experience in sales and technical activity in a high-tech environment.
  • Experience in the pro-AV industry (video), preferably in the LED market.
  • Technical expertise in different aspects of the video wall (display, processor and control software).
  • Advanced user of MS Office software.
  • English – native speaker or a high proficiency level (C1)
