Leyard gives SachsenEnergie Center in Dresden a new look with modern LED displays
Leyard Europe has successfully completed a comprehensive LED display installation at SachsenEnergie's headquarters in Dresden, Germany, featuring both indoor and outdoor solutions that enhance the regional utility company's event capabilities and brand presence. The project, delivered in partnership with local technology integrator, MATEC GmbH, represents a significant milestone in the complete renovation of the SachsenEnergie building.
As the largest municipal utility company in eastern Germany, the SachsenEnergie Group reliably supplies around 600,000 customers with energy, water, telecommunications, energy-related services, and modern infrastructure. SachsenEnergie is a partner to the region of Saxony and the state capital Dresden. With a workforce of over 4,000 employees, SachsenEnergie generates sales of €5.5 billion and will invest around €900 million in the security of supply and future viability of Saxony in 2026.

The installation, which was completed in 2025, comprises three distinct LED video walls designed to serve different purposes across the modernised headquarters. At the heart of the conference area, a substantial LED video wall featuring 12x12 panels of Leyard TVF Series with a 1.8mm pixel pitch creates an impressive focal point in the atrium, designed for image display during corporate events and gatherings.
Complementing the indoor installation, two outdoor LED video walls grace the building's façade, each constructed from 7x7 panels of CarbonLight CLM Series with a 5.9mm pixel pitch. These transparent LED solutions enable SachsenEnergie to present its brand and advertising content while maintaining architectural aesthetics.
The project arose from SachsenEnergie's complete building renovation initiative, with MATEC GmbH managing every aspect from initial planning through to final implementation. As an existing customer of MATEC, SachsenEnergie benefitted from the integrator's established expertise and trusted partnership throughout the installation process.
