Garage Le Couter is a well-known name in Tielt and the surrounding area. The family business, founded in 1955, is now in its third generation with dealership owner Stijn Le Couter. "My grandfather's garage was originally located in the center of Tielt. In my year of birth, 1979, it moved to Deinsesteenweg, where a new building was put into operation in 2007. My sister Inge and her husband Werner run the Lemmens-Le Couter garage in Waregem. Together we are the oldest BMW dealer in Belgium," says Stijn. Le Couter is an established name among individuals and companies for new and used BMW cars, including all the services that go with them.
"In everything we do, we strive to provide the best possible service for our customers, fully tailored to their needs. This includes a showroom with a professional and contemporary appearance. For the exterior presentation in our showcase, until recently we used the window stickers we received from BMW. A sticker is a fixed image and I missed a certain dynamic. When a sticker needed to be replaced, we had to call in an aerial worker. This happened seven to eight times a year, so this naturally added to the price tag. In addition, the quality of the stickers sometimes left something to be desired."
“With this dynamic content, we are able to stand out day and night, a major change from the static stickers of the past. We get a lot of positive feedback from our customers. As we value optimal satisfaction, this upgrade has been very successful for us.”

Stijn started looking for a sustainable, cost-effective and dynamic solution. Through the concession in Waregem, he came into contact with Van Gils. "In the showroom of my sister and her husband's garage, Van Gils video walls screens have been hanging for some time. They were very positive about this collaboration, so that's how I came to Van Gils with my question," he says. Van Gils' answer: a 15m² transparent LED video wall from premium brand Leyard, which displays dynamic content. The Leyard Tfree Series screen hangs inside the building, without blocking daylight in the showroom, while attracting people outside.
The installation of the digital signage solution was very efficient. "We received detailed technical specifications from Van Gils and Leyard in advance. This allowed our electrician to prepare everything correctly for a smooth installation. We can easily control the Leyard screen ourselves, with images and videos alternating," says Stijn.
The ultra-lightweight, transparent Leyard LED wall, with its frameless design and high transparency of more than 60%, adds to the professional and modern look of the family-owned business. "We are located on a street where all the major car brands have branches. With this dynamic content, we are able to stand out day and night, a major change from the static stickers of the past. We get a lot of positive feedback from our customers. As we value optimal satisfaction, this upgrade has been very successful for us," concludes Stijn.
